U-21: Ukraine's youth team is in the eighth Euro-2021 qualifying group

The draw for the selection round of the 2021 European Youth Championship took place today in Nyon, Switzerland. The Ukrainian team also learned the names of its rivals in the Euro 2021 (U-21) qualifying tournament.

In the fight for the exit to the final of the European Championship 53 teams will come together. Hungary and Slovenia, as hosts of the tournament, received direct passes. 

During the draw, the teams were divided into nine groups: eight - six teams and one - with five. Oleksandr Golovko's wards were drawn to select group 8. Their rivals were the teams of Denmark, Romania, Finland, Northern Ireland and Malta.

In the final part of Euro-2021 (U-21) there will be 12 teams: Hungary and Slovenia as the hosts of the tournament and 10 more teams that will join them based on the results of the selection (nine group winners and the winner of the playoffs, in which the two best will play). second team).
