U-20: Ukraine will meet with representatives of other confederations in preparation for World Cup

Three stages of preparation are planned for the start of the World Cup in the youth national team of Ukraine U-20 (football players not older than 1999).

The youth national team of Ukraine (U-20) will hold its first training camp in Poland from March 18 to 26, during which it will play two matches: on the 21st - with a representative of Asia or America, and on the 25th - with a team Japan.

The next phase of preparation will take place from April 15 to April 17. On the last day of work, the wards of Alexander Petrakov in Kiev try their hand at the Saudi team.

And finally, from May 10 to May 20, another preparatory gathering is planned in blue and yellow in the Ukrainian capital. On the 17th, our team will have a control match with Uruguay.

All this work will be devoted to the participation of the national team of Ukraine in the 2019 World Cup (U-20), which to be held from May 23 to June 15 in Poland. 24 teams from six confederations will take part in the tournament. Initially, they will compete in six quartets. The two best teams of each group, as well as four teams out of six, which will take third place, will reach the 1/8 finals. Then - according to the usual scheme.

The draw of the group stage of the competition will take place on February 24.
