U-20: the list of potential contenders for the Ukrainian national team at the 2019 World Cup has expanded

Two-thirds of U-20 World Cup participants to be held next year in Poland are already known. Drawing a forum where as a semifinalist of Euro-2018 The youth national team of Ukraine, scheduled for February 24, will also perform. 

The 2019 World Cup (U-20) will be held from May 23 to June 15 in Poland. 24 teams from six confederations will take part in the tournament. Initially, they will compete in six quartets. The two best teams of each group, as well as four teams out of six, which will take third place, will reach the 1/8 finals. Then - according to the usual scheme.

Europe will be represented by six national teams at the tournament. It is the host of the competition, Poland, as well as the five strongest teams in Euro 2018 (U-19): Portugal, Italy, Ukraine, France and Norway.

Also this year, 10 more World Cup participants were determined in the tournaments of the corresponding age category: in Asia U-19 - Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Qatar, Japan, in CONCACAF U-20 - USA, Mexico, Panama, Honduras and in Oceania U-19 - New Zealand, Tahiti. The rest of the teams will be announced next year, when the U-20 championships will take place in South America (January 17-February 10, Chile) and Africa (February 2-17, Niger). In both competitions, four odds are drawn.

The draw for the 2019 World Cup (U-20) will take place on February 24 in Gdynia. 

We will add that the current world champion in the U-20 national team is the England team, which won this title at the last championship - 2017 in South Korea. This time the British did not get to the forum at all.
