U-20: A complete list of potential contenders for the Ukrainian national team at the 2019 World Cup has been determined

All participants of the U-20 World Championships that will be held in Poland this year are already known. Drawing a forum where as a semifinalist of Euro-2018 the youth national team of Ukraine (coach - Alexander Petrakov), scheduled for February 24, will also perform. 

2019 World Cup (U-20) will be held from May 23 to June 15 in Poland. 24 teams from six confederations will take part in the tournament. Initially, they will compete in six quartets. The two best teams of each group, as well as four teams out of six, which will take third place, will reach the 1/8 finals. Then - according to the usual scheme.

Europe six national teams will represent the tournament. It is the host of the competition, Poland, as well as the five strongest teams in Euro 2018 (U-19): Portugal, Italy, Ukraine, France and Norway.

Also last year in tournaments of the corresponding age category 10 more participants of the World Cup were defined: Asia U-19 - Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Qatar, Japan, y CONCACAF U-20 - USA, Mexico, Panama, Honduras and c Oceania U-19 - New Zealand, Tahiti. The rest of the teams became known last weekend, following the U-20 championships South America (Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia) and Africa (Senegal, Nigeria, South Africa, Mali). 

The draw for the 2019 World Cup (U-20) will take place on February 24 in Gdynia. The formation of baskets will take into account the country's performance at the last five world championships in the U-20 category (Poland will receive A1 automatically as the host), and quartets - the geographical principle (each group will have no more than one team from one confederation).

We will add that the current world champion in the U-20 national team is the England team, which won this title at the last championship - 2017 in South Korea. This time the British did not get to the forum at all.
