Ukrainian U-17 and U-19 national teams departed for Portugal and Sweden to participate in Euro-2020 qualifiers

Alexander Petrakov's team will play its matches in Portugal, and Oleg Kuznetsov's wards - in Sweden.

From November 13 to 19, two youth national teams of Ukraine, U-17 and U-19, will take part in the qualifying rounds of the 2020 European Championship.

Alexander Petrakov reduced the list to one forward

The Ukrainian U-5.30 national team was the first to head for Porto at 17. As for the changes in the squad, Shakhtar striker Vladyslav Pohoriliy did not fly with Oleksandr Petrakov's team. The final list of players of the national team is as follows.

Goalkeepers: Denis Ignatenko (Dynamo Kyiv), Pavlo Isenko (Vorskla Poltava).

Defenders: Mark Mampassi, Eduard Kozik, Andriy Buleza (all - Shakhtar Donetsk), Volodymyr Malenkov, Maksym Dyachuk (both - Dynamo Kyiv), Vitaliy Roman (Karpaty Lviv), Glib Savchuk (UFK-Karpaty Lviv) .

In Portugal, blue and yellow will play with Georgia (November 13), Albania (16th) and Portugal (19th).

The two strongest teams of each of the 13 groups and the four best teams that will take the third places (according to the results of meetings with the two leaders of their group) will advance to the elite round. Matches of this stage will take place in March 2020.

In the elite round, all participants will be divided into eight groups. The winners of the groups and the seven best second teams (according to the results of the matches with the first and third teams of their group) will reach the final stage, where they will join the host of Euro - Estonia. The final tournament will take place in May 2020.

In the national team U-19 - two shifts

Before the flight to Stockholm for Euro 2020 (U-19), which took place at about 10 am, this youth national team of Ukraine underwent the following changes in the composition: instead of the midfielder of the Czech "Karvina" Ivan Zhelizko, the defender of "Dynamo" Danilo Hondak was called, and instead of Dynamo midfielder Mykola Mykhaylenko - his teammate and colleague Roman Bodnya. Now the composition of Oleg Kuznetsov's team looks like this.

Goalkeepers: Anatoliy Trubin (Shakhtar Donetsk), Valentyn Horokh (Karpaty Lviv).

Oleg Kuznetsov's wards will play their qualifying matches in Sweden: first against Estonia (November 13), then against Slovenia (November 16) and finally against Sweden (November 19). The two strongest teams from each group and the best among the teams, which will take the third places (according to the results of meetings with the two leaders of their group), will go to the elite round. Matches of this stage will take place in the spring of 2020.

The winners of the seven elite round groups will make their way to the final stage, which will take place in July 2020 in Northern Ireland.
