Today, the youth national team of Ukraine U-19 (football players born no older than 2005) begins training in South Korea, which will last until October 15. Within its borders, the blue-yellow team will take part in an international tournament.
On the eve of the meeting, the head coach of the team Oleg Kuznetsov answered the questions of the official website of the UAF.
— Oleg Volodymyrovych, what goals will you pursue at this meeting?
— The last time we met was a year and a half ago, so it is extremely important to see what the team looks like, to see the newcomers before the start of the qualifying round of the European Championship.
— There are no Shakhtar representatives on the list...
— Unfortunately, there will be no candidates from the Donetsk club who participated in the UEFA Youth League match at this meeting, they physically did not have time to come. Despite this, the boys are in the bracket, and they will be in the position of the national team before the start of the Euro qualifiers.
— The national team of Ukraine will play against the teams of South Korea, Vietnam and Morocco. What do you know about the rivals?
- We have practically no information - except for statistics with matches, goals, team. I hope that we will have the video materials for South Korea, with whom we have the first match of the tournament, directly on the spot. And we will look at Vietnam and Morocco during the competition.
