WU-19: November 29, Ukraine's women's national team contenders qualify for Euro-2021 qualification

On November 29, the UEFA Headquarters in Nyon will draw the qualifying round of the 2021 European Championship (WU-19).

The draw procedure for the participants of the Euro-2021 (WU-19) selection will start at 11.00. Among the 48 national teams, which will be divided into 12 groups of four teams, is the youth women's national team of Ukraine. For the draw, participants were divided into four baskets according to their UEFA ranking. Ukrainians are in the basket S.

Warehouse composition 

Cart A: France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Denmark, England, Italy, Finland, Scotland, Belgium, Czech Republic.

Cart B: Sweden, Ireland, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Iceland, Portugal, Russia *, Serbia *, Slovakia, Slovenia, Northern Ireland.

Cart C: Turkey, Ukraine*, Azerbaijan *, Greece, Wales, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina *, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Montenegro.

Cart D: Faroe Islands, Kosovo *, Latvia, Lithuania, Northern Macedonia, Moldova, Georgia, Estonia, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Armenia *, Andorra.

*Based on the decisions of the UEFA Executive Committee and the UEFA Emergency Committee, the following teams cannot be placed in the same group: Russia and Ukraine, Russia and Kosovo, Serbia and Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo, Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Each selected group will receive one team from each basket. In the future, the hosts of the mini-tournaments, which are tentatively scheduled for September 14-22 and October 19-27, 2020, will be determined.

Following the results of the qualifying round, the two best teams from each group and the three best teams that will take third place (according to the results of matches with the first and second teams of their quartet) will go to the elite round. There, they will join the Spanish national team, which has a direct pass at this stage. In addition, the national team of Belarus, which is the host of Euro-2021 (WU-19), automatically received a ticket to the finals.
