2019: results of the year for the women's national team of futsal

In 2019, Ukraine's women's futsal team took part in the debut European Championship.

During the year, the Blue and Yellows played eight matches - two official and six friendly. Our girls have four victories, one draw and three defeats (one after a series of penalties). In these matches, the Ukrainians scored 30 goals, conceding 13.

Oleg Shaitanov's wards scored in all but one match. In total, eight different players stood out, and the best scorer of 2019 in the national team was Anna Schulga with 10 goals.

The year has begun for the team with friendly matches against Italy, which were to be the last rehearsal before the debut European Women's Futsal Championship, where the Ukrainian national team won a ticket in September 2018.

Unfortunately at Euro 2019 itself Ukrainians became the fourth among four teams, losing both in the semifinals and in the match for third place. However, our national team will need experience in the main tournament of the continent in the future.

In the second half of the year, Oleg Shaitanov's wards conducted four sparring sessions that fell on two windows for national teams. In October, the Ukrainian national team twice defeated Serbia on the road, and in November it was no less confident that it was already at home with Slovakia.
