Sergiy Sapronov: "Search for sparring partners for WU-17 team continues"

In March, the girls' national team of Ukraine WU-17 will take part in the elite round of selection for the final part European Championship 2020. It will be recalled that the competition will be held in Norway, and in addition to the hosts, the rivals of the blue-yellows will be the Poles and the Czechs.

- So far, all candidates are preparing for new tests in their teams, - said the head coach of the national team Sergei Sapronov in a comment to the official website of the UAF. - I will see some of them on the field soon - in Chernihiv, where from February 17 to 21 will take place winter championship of Ukraine. And the next day after its end in Kiev will begin the first stage of preparation to the exam in Norway.

- Do you have information about your health?'Am I your ward?

- Of course, I keep in touch with their club coaches, and so far they have not had any problems.

- Is sparring planned during the gathering in the capital of Ukraine?

- Definitely. As far as I know, negotiations are underway with representatives of several countries at once, and I very much hope that in February we will play two control matches.

- And when will you finally decide on those wards who will defend the honor of Ukraine in Norway?

- In mid-March, after the final stage of preparation. Although, frankly, the backbone of the national team is already known.
