Andrii Yarmolenko has started preparations for the new season with West Ham

The midfielder of the national team of Ukraine and West Ham United Andrii Yarmolenko together with his partners began preparations for the 2020/2021 season. 

The club's official website reportsthat on Monday, August 17, West Ham players gathered at the Rush Green base, where the women's club team is holding matches, to begin preparations for the new season. David Moyes' wards have already been tested for COVID-19, and if they receive negative results, they should start full-fledged training on Tuesday.  

On Monday, the Hammers trained in small groups of four or five players, following all the conditions of the medical protocol.

On Tuesday night, the coaching staff and West Ham players will travel to Scotland for a short training camp and return to England next week. In the future, Yarmolenko and his partners are scheduled for several pre-season matches. To begin with, on August 25, the team will split into two halves and play two sparring matches at the same time - against the newcomer to the Wycombe Championship and the representative of the first league - Ipswich.
