On the eve of the game, a technical meeting was held at the Football House. At the meeting with the participation of representatives of the teams and officials of the match, it was decided that the national team of Ukraine will play in the yellow set. Gathering of our team, which includes 24 football players entered, started on April 5 in Kyiv. Classes were held at the stadium of FC "Left Bank". According to the medical protocol, the Ukrainian women underwent PCR testing on Monday, and all the results were negative.
"Unfortunately, for various reasons, Yulia Khrystyuk, Kateryna Korsun and Victoria Girin will not help us. However, the main thing is that the key players are in line and are preparing to meet the new challenge in full force, ” told on the eve of the personnel situation in our team head coach Natalia Zinchenko.
With its rival, Northern Ireland, blue and yellow previously met twice. However, none of these matches had official status. Both matches ended in victory for Ukraine, and the best scorer of these matches is Daria Apanashchenko, who hit the goal of the British team three times.
The first play-off match, Ukraine - Northern Ireland, will take place today in Kovalivka at Kolos Stadium (starting at 19.00), the return match will take place on April 13 in Belfast at Sivyu Stadium (21.45 Kyiv time).
We will add that the main referee of the match in Kovalivka was appointed 40-year-old referee from Germany Riem Hussein. Assistants - Catherine Rafalski (Germany) and Guadalupe Porras (Spain), reserve referee - Caroline Wacker (Germany).

A total of 15 teams from the Euro qualifiers will reach the decisive stage. Nine winners of the selected groups and the three best second teams have already joined England as the hosts of the European Championship (as a result of matches with the first, third, fourth and fifth teams in their groups).
