Conference League. Zorya and Vorskla found out their opponents in the third qualifying round

The draw for the third qualifying round of the 2022/2023 Conference League took place today at the UEFA headquarters.

In the base register of the Conference League, Ukraine has two delegates. The fourth UPL team (Zorya) will start in the third qualifying round, and the fifth (Vorskla) - in the second. Thus, our clubs will need to go through two and three opponents, respectively, to get to the main draw of the tournament.

According to the results of the draw, Zorya will meet the winner of the clash between Vlaznia (Albania) and Universitatia (Romania) in the third qualifying round. Luhansk side will play the first match in Lublin, Poland, on August 4, and the second away on August 11.

If Vorskla advances to the third round of qualification, it will play against the winner of the duel between Valmiera (Latvia) and Skendia (North Macedonia). Poltava side will play their first match at home on August 4, and the second away on August 11.

However, in front of this white-green need to overcome Swedish AIK in the second qualifying round. Both matches of this stage will pass in Stockholm, at the stadiums Stockholm-Arena and Friends-Arena on July 21 and 27, respectively. 

Ukraine's quota in the Conference League-2022/2023

Zorya (Luhansk) starts in the third qualifying round.

Opponent — the winner of the pair Vlaznia (Albania) — Universitatia (Romania), matches - August 4 and 11.

Vorskla (Poltava) starts in the second qualifying round.

Opponent - AIK (Sweden), matches - July 21 and 27.
