WU-19: the youth women's national team of Ukraine retained registration in League A Euro-2023

The Euro-2023 A League (WU-19) tournament with the participation of the youth women's national team of Ukraine has ended in Israel. The home team was the last opponent of the blue and yellow team.
In the previous matches, Valery Palamarchuk's wards drew with Austria (1:1) and regrettably conceded to Germany (1:2). In the final match, against Israel, which took place in Ramat-Gan, the blue-and-yellow team had enough not to lose to the home team to stay in the top division.
As a result, our team completed the task - the meeting ended in a scoreless draw. The expulsion of Borysiuk at the beginning of the second half did not hinder the Ukrainians, although at the end of the game Boklach had to be rescued several times.
So, the blue-yellows took the third place in the group, kept their registration in League A and will now wait for the draw of the second round of selection, which will take place on December 7.

In total, there are 28 teams in League A (including eight who moved from League B following the results of the second round of selection for the 2021/2022 season, which ended this spring). They are divided into seven groups. The teams of each group play in the same arena in the format of mini-tournaments.
The fourth-placed teams will continue the season in the second round in League B. The seeding of the participants before the second round will depend on the places in their groups the teams will occupy in the first round. Belgium also takes part in the competition, despite a direct ticket to the finals, which belongs to them as hosts.
League B teams (including those relegated from League A in the second round of the 2021/2022 season, as well as Gibraltar, who are participating in UEFA Women's tournaments for the first time) will compete for promotion to League A in seven groups. The winners of the groups will move to the higher division.
