The qualifying for the national e-football team of Ukraine has started

On Monday, November 28, the qualifying for the national team of Ukraine in e-football in the FIFA 23 discipline began.

Competitions are held in the "2vs2" format on the PlayStation 5 platform using the FIFA 23 simulator (the squads are in the Ultimate Team mode).

16 teams compete within the upper and lower grids according to the Double Elimination system (up to two losses) in the BO3 (Best Of 3) format.

On the first day of play, the participants of the second round of the upper grid were determined — Denys Yevtushik/Yaroslav Gurmak, David Sereda/Olexandr Slipchuk, Maksym Bober/Daniil Shelaev, Oleksandr Petukhov/Ruslan Rudomyotov. 

Also, in a tense three-match confrontation with a series of post-match penalties, the team of Evgeny Mostovyk/Aleksii Mercer defeated the team of Kyril Honchar/Yehor Dmytrenko (3:2, 1:5, 2:1) and made it to the third round of the upper grid, where they will face the pair Oleksandr Grishay/Andrii Shakalov.

The broadcast of the matches of the final day of selection for the Ukrainian e-football national team is scheduled for November 30 (from 12.00:XNUMX p.m.) and will take place on the YouTube channel of the Ukrainian Football Association.
