The Ukrainian national e-football team will start in the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 selection (live - on the UAF YouTube channel)

On Thursday, December 15, the Ukrainian e-football national team in the FIFA discipline will begin performances in the qualifiers for the World Cup — FIFAe Nations Cup 2023.

The blue-yellows will take part in the first qualifying round (play-in), the matches of which will take place in the 2vs2 format on the PS5 platform and will last from December 2022 to March 2023.

The Ukrainian team will be represented at these competitions by four cyberfootball players who won the national selection: Oleksandr CIG Grishay Grishay and Andriy CIG ST92 Shakalov (main squad), Denis ECF_Phoenix Yevtushyk and Yaroslav ECF_BlackStar98x Gurmak (reserve squad).

According to the results of the draw, the national team of Ukraine got into conference 3 and begins its tournament journey from division 2. The opponents of the blue-yellow team during the opening game week are the national teams of Switzerland, Belgium, Greece and Georgia.

The matches will be held according to the round-robin system in the BO1 format. 3 points will be awarded for a win in the play-in games, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss.

If the national team of Ukraine manages to finish this game week in the top 2, it will go to division 1. It is in division 1 that two tickets to the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 playoffs will be drawn after the end of the play-in round.
