Euro-2025 (U-21): today the youth national team of Ukraine will play a match against the Luxembourg team

Today, October 12 youth team of Ukraine will be held by Stthe another a match in the Euro-2025 qualifying tournament (U-21) — away against the team Luxembourg.

The selection cycle of the European Championship of the youth national team of Ukraine (players born in 2002 and younger), which leads the Spaniard Unai Melgosa started on September 12 with a victory in a nominally home match held in Poprad, Slovakia, over the team of Northern Ireland — 1:0.

Also in group F, in addition to these two national teams, England, Serbia, Azerbaijan and Luxembourg are playing. It is with the latter that the blue-yellows have to meet in their next match. The game will take place today in the second most populous city of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Ache-sur-Alzette, at the Emile Mayrish Arena and will start at 19:30 local time (20:30 Kyiv time). Tickets for the match can be purchased by the link.

We will remind you that the blue and yellow team will play their third match, nominally at home against their English peers, on October 16 in Kosice, Slovakia, at the Košice Football Arena stadium. The meeting starts at 18:30 local time (19:30 Kyiv time). Tickets for the match are free and available by link. It is not necessary to print them before entering the stadium, you can present them from your phone.

"Luxembourg has fast players in the attacking line. Yes, against England they spent most of the time defending and trying to hit the opposition on the counter-attack, but against Northern Ireland they started well, controlling the ball, scoring a goal and winning. It will be a difficult match on Thursday," the head coach of the youth national team of Ukraine, Unai Melgosa, said the day before.

Let's add that the match will be judged by the Icelandic team of referees headed by Viljalmur Thorarrinsson.
