U-18: Ukraine's youth team lost to Bulgaria's sparring squad

At the training meeting held in Bulgaria, Oleg Kuznetsov's wards spent the first of two scheduled matches with the hosts.

For various reasons at the current meeting the head coach of the youth national team of Ukraine U-18 (football players not older than 2001 of birth) Oleg Kuznetsov can't count for a number of players who are age appropriate for his team.

After the first ball missed in the 67th minute, there was still hope for a positive result, but after removing the goalkeeper Morgun 81 minutes into the game (outside the penalty area) in the 86th and 88th minutes, the home side proved account to the smashing.

Ukraine: Morgun, Wise, Kalenchuk, Yakuba, Yarosh, Litvinenko (Melnychuk, 54), Bodnya, Gurov (Danylyuk, 54), Zavgorodny, Voloshin, Chiruk (Handy, 54).

On March 23, these teams will hold a second sparring (starting at 14.00).

It will be recalled that the matches of the Euro 2020 (U-19) qualifying tournament, for which Oleg Kuznetsov's team is preparing, will pass November 13, 16, and 19. The rivals of the Ukrainians in the fight for the tickets to the elite round of competitions will be national teams of Sweden, Slovenia and Estonia.
