Today U-17 and U-19 youth national teams begin performance in Euro-2020 qualifiers

The wards of Alexander Petrakov and Oleg Kuznetsov will hold qualifying matches for the European Youth Championships in the near future.

From the 13th to the 19th of November, two junior national teams of Ukraine, U-17 and U-19, will participate in the qualifying rounds of the 2020 European Championship.

Euro 2020 (U-17). Qualifying round. Group 8

There will be performances in Portugal U-17 youth team of Ukraine. The rivals of the wards Alexandra Petrakova will be Georgia, Albania and Portugal.

The elite round will feature the two strongest teams of each of the 13 groups and the four best teams to take third place (as a result of meetings with two leaders of their group). The matches of this stage will take place in March 2020.

In the elite round, all participants will be divided into eight groups. The winners of the groups and the seven best second teams (based on the results of the first and third teams of their group) will reach the final stage, where they will join the host of Euro - Estonia. The final tournament will take place in May 2020.

U-19 Youth Team of Ukraine led Oleg Kuznetsov will hold its qualification matches in Sweden against Estonia, Slovenia and the local team. The elite round will feature two of the strongest teams in each group and the best among the teams that will take third place (as a result of meetings with two leaders of their group). The matches of this stage will take place in spring 2020.

The winners of the seven elite round groups will make their way to the final stage, which will take place in July 2020 in Northern Ireland.
