2019: the results of the year for the women's national team of Ukraine

In 2019, the national women's national team of Ukraine played 10 matches, winning three, drawing twice and losing five. The difference between goals scored and goals conceded is 14-27.

The blue-and-yellow team started the year with the Iberian training camp, during which they played two friendly matches against Portugal. The first meeting ended in a draw - 1: 1, and the Ukrainians managed to equalize the score thanks to an own goal of rivals. In the second game, which took place in three days, the advantage of the hosts was embodied in their victory with a score of 3: 0.

For the second time, Natalia Zinchenko's wards gathered in late February to participate in an international tournament held in Croatia. In these competitions Ukraine took third place, first beating the Croats (4: 0), then conceding to Slovenia (1: 3) and beating the Bosniaks (1: 0) in the match.

The last stage of preparation for the start of the Euro-2021 qualification was the June training camp, during which the national team of Ukraine parted ways in a home friendly game with the team of Belarus - 1: 1.

Official matches for the blue and yellows began in the fall. The Ukrainians started in the Euro 2021 qualifying tournament with two matches against the reigning Olympic champion, two-time world champion and eight-time European champion, the German national team. Both meetings ended with the victory of the Germans with the same score - 8: 0. Natalia Zinchenko's team also lost in an away match against a direct competitor, the national team of Ireland - 2: 3. However, despite the fact that y selection of Euro-2021 The Ukrainian team has not scored a single point so far, it retains the chances for the final second place, which gives the opportunity to fight for a ticket to the final tournament, because the toughest matches are over.

The Ukrainian national team ended the year with a trip to Turkey, where it first warmed up local club team, and then defeated the national team - 4: 0.

2019 national women's national team matches

In 2019, 31 football players took part in matches as part of the women's national team of Ukraine. All 10 matches were played by three - Natia Pantsulaya, Daria Apanashchenko and Tatiana Kitaeva. Nine matches were won by Olga Basanska and Veronika Andrukhiv, eight each by Daria Kravets, Iryna Podolska, Nadiya Kunina and Tetyana Romanenko.

The best scorer of the year is Daria Apanashchenko - four goals.
