U-17: 2020 will be a very busy year for Alexander Petrakov's team

Youth national team of Ukraine U-17 (football players not older than 2003 birth) will take part in two official tournaments this year.

The first gathering for the U-17 national team will begin on February 3. This will be the only stage in preparation for elite round of qualification Euro-2020. But such a fee is probably worth two, considering what rivals in Spain will meet Alexander Petrakov's team. On the 6th and 10th, the team of England will face the blue and yellow, while the 8th will play against the Belgians.

The training camp, which will precede the elite round, will start on March 17. At the tournament itself, the national team of Ukraine in Turkey will play with the host teams (March 25), Belarus (28th) and Greece (31st). The winners of the eight groups of the elite round and the seven best second teams (according to the results of the matches with the first and third teams of their group) will become participants in the final stage.

In case of entering the Euro-2020 (U-17), Alexander Petrakov's wards will start preparations for the tournament on May 8 and hold two sparring sessions, while the European Championship itself will be held in Estonia between May 21 and June 6.

In early September, the team plans to play two away friendly games. Two more domestic sparring sessions against Romanians, October 10 and 12, will be the last rehearsal before the updated qualifying round 19 European Championships (U-2022). The youth national team of Ukraine will play its matches in Germany in League A against Belgium, Sweden and the hosts on November 11, 14 and 17.
