U-16/17: preliminary plans of the youth national team of Ukraine in 2021

The first training camp of the youth national team of Ukraine U-16/17 (footballers not older than 2005), if there are no changes, given the epidemiological situation in the world and the decisions of the relevant bodies of UEFA and UAF, will take place from May 31 to June 8. During this work it is planned to hold two friendly matches.

Then Oleg Kuznetsov's team will start in the 17th minute international tournament under the auspices of the UAF in memory of the first president of the national federation Viktor Maksimovich Bannikov, which will take place from 25 to 31 August. Its participants will be the youth national teams of Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Turkey, Finland and Slovakia.

The last stage of preparation for the qualifying round of Euro-2022 (U-17) for Oleg Kuznetsov's team will be the training camp from October 4 to 12, during which the Ukrainians will also hold two sparring matches. Well, the qualifying matches themselves will take place on November 10, 13 and 16. The tournament will be held in Portugal, where, in addition to the hosts, our rivals will be Wales and Kazakhstan. It will be recalled that the elite selection round will feature the two strongest teams from each group, as well as the top four teams, which will take third place in the meetings with the first and second teams of their four.
