The national team of Ukraine in cyber football in the discipline of FIFA became the seventh at the start of the selection of FIFAe Nations Cup 2022
Ukraine's FIFA cyber football team finished the first week of the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 play-off round in seventh place in Division 2.
The qualifying phase lasts from December 2021 to April 2022. It includes four game weeks, the results of which will determine the winners of six passes to the FIFA World Cup. National electronic teams compete with each other in the "2vs2" mode of FIFA 22 on the PlayStation 5.
Ukrainian cyber football players on Thursday have taken only two points in six matches, so Yaroslav ECF_BlackStar98 Gurmak and Andriy CIG_ST92 Shakalov sought to improve the team's results in the three matches remaining in the schedule of the first game week of the competition.
And the national team of Ukraine managed to amuse its fans in the first game series. Our guys responded to the 1: 3 defeat by the Czech team with a crushing victory in the return match - 3: 0.
But in the confrontation with Hungary, Fortune turned away from the Ukrainian team. In the first game, the blue and yellows took the lead twice, but were satisfied with only a draw, and the second meeting, despite the total advantage of the Ukrainians, ended in a sad defeat in the last seconds - 1: 2.
In the third match, the national team of Ukraine scored two goals to the leaders of the group, the Swiss, but in both cases failed and did not earn a single point.
Thus, in the first week of the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 play-off round, Ukraine's FIFA cyber football team won one of 12 matches and earned six points, finishing seventh in the standings. The national teams of Switzerland, Ireland and Luxembourg made it to Division 1.
Already on January 27 and 28, the Ukrainian national team will have the opportunity to reach the top division of the conference from the second attempt within the second game week of selection 1.
