Table of UEFA coefficients: Ukraine scored 0,4 points at the start of group tournaments
In the five-year cycle 2018/2019—2022/2023, Ukraine is currently in the 16th position.
We will remind you that five domestic clubs took part in the start of the 2022/2023 season, and two of them, unfortunately, have already stopped fighting — Vorskla й Zorya Lugansk relegated from the Conference League.
Meanwhile, this week Ukraine gained two more points (0,4 points) thanks to the victory of Shakhtar against Leipzig - 4:1 in the Champions League. "Dynamo" and "Dnipro-1" lost to "Fenerbahce" - 1:2 and AZ - 0:1 in the Europa League and Conference League, respectively, so nothing was put into the coffers. Because of this, we did not manage to get close to the main competitors in the table.
Thus, Shakhtar currently has 6 points (including four bonuses for a place in the group stage of the Champions League), Dynamo has 3,5 points, Zorya and Vorskla have taken one each, Dnipro-1 has with zero In total, Ukraine currently has 11,5 points or 2,3 points (11,5:5).
Ukraine is in 16th place, the gap from 15th is only 0,115 points (1 point), from 14th — 0,825 (5), from 13th — 0,950 (5), from 12th — 1,150 (6) .
This table forms a representation for the 2024/2025 European Cup season, in which, we remind you, the planned change of the system of group rounds to the Swiss one with an increase in the number of participants to 36. The overall representation from the associations and the starting grid for all three tournaments have yet to be approved by UEFA.
