U-18: the youth national team of Ukraine finished the Vaclav Jezek tournament with a victory over the Slovakian team
In the third match at the Vaclav Jezek tournament in the Czech Republic, Yuriy Moroz's wards defeated Slovakia in a dramatic confrontation.
Today, the youth national team of Ukraine (footballers born in 2006) played their last match at the Vaclav Jezek tournament. After the goal missed at the start, the blue-yellow managed to turn the tide of the match thanks to the goals of Ponomarenko and Zhdanov. However, the Slovaks leveled the situation after our own goal. The Ukrainians, on the other hand, managed to win in stoppage time, using the opponent's fatal mistake. In the 90th + 2nd minute, Kalin scored from the penalty spot. 3:2.
As a result, the Ukrainian national team took third place at the tournament.
