U-17: Ukraine's youth team defeated Arsenal-Kyiv in a control match

On the eve of the start of the Euro-2019 qualification, the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 under the leadership of Volodymyr Yezersky held a sparring match against the youth of Arsenal-Kyiv.

After winning the Victor Bannikov Memorial and two control matches against the national team of Azerbaijan, the youth national team of Ukraine held a dress rehearsal on the eve of the start of the Euro-2019 qualifiers. The last rival of Volodymyr Yezersky's wards was Arsenal-Kyiv, which put players a little older than their opponents.

However, the players of the youth team were not confused and showed decent preparation for the official matches, beating the "gunners" with a score of 3-0.

It should be noted that in this sparring Volodymyr Yezerskyi used two different teams, giving all performers the opportunity to spend one half on the field.

Already on October 7, the blue and yellows will go to Bosnia, where they will officially start in the Euro-2019 qualifiers. On the way to the continental championship, the final part of which will be held in Ireland, the Ukrainian team will first have to meet in qualifying matches with peers from Iceland (October 10), Gibraltar (October 13) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (October 16).

The elite round of Euro-2019 will include the two best teams of each of the 13 groups, as well as four teams that will take third place and have the best tournament results in meetings with top pairs. The matches of the elite round of the European Championship will take place in March, and the final part of the competition - in May 2019.
