Midfielder of the Ukrainian national team Bogdan Lednev spoke about the victory with Cyprus at the Valery Lobanovsky Tournament.

One of the most active participants semi-final match between the youth teams of Ukraine and Cyprus became a midfielder of blue and yellow Bogdan Ladnev, who after the game answered the questions of the official website of the UAF.

- Bogdan, share your impressions of the match against the Cypriots.

- I think that the game turned out to be of a good level on our part. However, we expected more from the opponent. The mentors asked us to control the ball, to carry out quick attacks. I think we managed if we scored three goals and didn't miss.

- At their penalty area, the Cypriots acted tightly, it was difficult to get to the strike position. But don't worry, let's hope it works out next time (smiles).

- What did the head coach tell you during the break?

- Ruslan Petrovich asked to run less, and more often and faster to play through the pass, then there will be more moments. The coach was right, because in addition to the goals scored, we had other chances.

- The players of the national team of Cyprus helped you to score…

- These are their problems. Score on the scoreboard. We are preparing for the qualifying matches of the European Championship. Such matches are also needed to prepare for the official tournament.

- Will it be more difficult with Israel in the final?
