Futsal Euro-2022 (U-19) kicks off today in Jaen, Spain. The youth national team of Ukraine will begin its performance in the final tournament with a match against Croatia.

On the eve of the European Championship, Vitaliy Odegova's wards held a training camp in Uzhhorod. The blue-yellow team played two control matches against Lviv "Energia" - they drew in the first match and won the second. On September 1, the team left for Spain.

At the Euro-2022 futsal (U-19), the youth national team of Ukraine will play in Group A, where they will meet with Croatia, Romania and Spain. The match against the Balkans will take place today (starting at 14.30:XNUMX Kyiv time).

"We played with the Croatian team at the last European Championship, and it was them that we faced twice last year at the Futsal Week tournament. Traditionally, for the Balkan countries, the Croats are quite a strong team with large players. However, the opponent combines both athleticism and technique. It can be mentioned that the matches of our national team with Croatia are surprisingly difficult. In general, these are quite technical guys who play a lot through the "posts". I would also like to note that due to their size, Croatian futsal players often use high pressing," — shared expectations from the game with Croatia Vitaliy Odegov.
