During the NTZ, which takes place from March 20 to 27 as part of the preparation for the final tournament of Euro-2023 (U-21), the youth national team of Ukraine will hold two sparring matches - against Denmark and Italy.

Today, March 24, in Belek, Turkey, on the Carya Regnum field, our team will meet with the youth national team of Denmark. The match starts at 15.30:XNUMX Kyiv time. The match will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of UAF and regional TV channels of Suspilny. 

The team, along with coaches Vasyl Kardash and Oleksandr Melashchenko, arrived in Turkey via Warsaw on March 20. The first training day was devoted to recovery, after which direct preparation for the test matches began. All the performers are healthy and, taking into account the fact that sparring sessions will be held three days apart, as well as taking into account the further difficult move (on the 27th, the blue and yellow team will play against the Italian team in the city of Reggio di Calabria), it can be assumed that the coaching staff will try to evenly distribute the load among the players. In other words, it is likely that all football players will get game practice at this meeting.

We will remind that this year the youth national team of Ukraine will take part in the final tournament of Euro-2023 (U-21). In total, 21 teams will participate in the forum, which will take place from June 8 to July 16 in Georgia and Romania. According to the results of the draw, which had happened On October 18 of last year in Bucharest, the blue and yellow got into group B, where will meet with Romania, Spain and Croatia. The three best teams of Euro 2023 (except France and England) will book their places at the 2024 Olympic Games.
