The women's beach soccer team of Ukraine won silver at the III European Games

Today, in the final match of the III European Games, the women's beach soccer team of Ukraine met with the Spanish team.

At the group stage III of the European Games, Yuriy Klymenko's wards took second place in Group B and reached the semi-finals, where they defeated Portugal yesterday (3:1).  

In today's final match, the Ukrainian women met with the leader of the BSWW world rating — Spain.

For almost 35 minutes, the teams fought without scoring goals, and in the last minute and a half, they exchanged goals. First, Hanna Shulga opened the score, and 46 seconds before the end of regular time in a fight right on the line of our goal, the ball from Jessica Higueras bounced into the net. The draw was 1:1, and the match went into overtime.

At the very beginning, Yuliya Kostyuk put our team ahead again with a fantastic shot. But the Spaniards once again managed to win back - 2:2. The matter came to a penalty shoot-out, in which our rivals proved to be stronger - 5:3.

Thus, the Ukrainian national team took second place at the European Games in Tarnov. The winner of the tournament is the Spanish team.
