Two student teams from Ukraine will perform at the FISU University World Cup
The 2023 FISU University World Cup Football began in Jinjiang (China).
Ukraine will be represented at these competitions by the women's team of the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavla Tychyna and the men's team of the State University of Trade and Economics (Kyiv).
In total, eight women's and 31 men's teams will participate in the tournament, which will be held until October 12. Its organizers are the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and the Chinese University Sports Federation. According to the results of the draw, our girls got into group B, where their opponents will be football players from the universities of France, Thailand and Brazil. Among the men's opponents are students from Korea and Australia. After the group rounds, the play-off matches will take place.
