We represent the national team of Ukraine in cyber football: manager - Konstantin Demyanenko

As part of the presentation of Ukraine's first ever cyber football team, we present the national team manager Konstantin Demyanenko. 

According to the results of the national selection for the national team of Ukraine in cyber football, the first in the history of the national team in this sport was formed. The national team will compete for the right to represent our country at the European Championship in the discipline KONAMI'seFootballPES 2020.

We have already introduced two major players, Vitaliy Litvinov and Sergey Marchenko, as well as two reservists - Maxim Andrasyuk and Igor Lyubchak. Today we bring to your attention an interview with the manager of the national cyber football team of Ukraine Kostyanityn Demyanenko. 

- Konstantin, are you interested in football? What is your favorite club?

- Football is an integral part of my life, I carefully follow everything that happens in the football world. Favorite club - Shakhtar (Donetsk).

- How long have you been doing PES? How did you come to this?

- I have been playing PES since childhood, since 1998. During 2006-2013 he organized offline tournaments in Odessa.

- What are your achievements in the field of cyber football?

- I am the winner and prize-winner of tournaments in Odessa, Dnipro, Donetsk and other cities in the period from 2006 to 2013. Champion of Ukraine in PES from Pepsi in 2016.

- What are your prospects for cyber football in the future?

- Cyberfutol is now in its infancy both in Ukraine and in the world. But there is no doubt that in the future this area will be able to compete in popularity with real football.

- How do you see the further preparation of the national team for qualification for eEURO-2020? What will be the structure of the training process?

- Training is conducted daily, the team members approached the issue responsibly - they play in the strongest online tournaments from KONAMI and other organizers. In the future we will agree on sparring matches with cyber football players from other countries. Regular trainings of all four with live communication and analysis of the game of each member of the national team are planned.

- How do you assess the chances of the Ukrainian national team to reach the finals of eEURO-2020?

- Our team does not have much experience in such large-scale tournaments, but there is a high level of play and a great desire to get to the finals in London. Our guys will cope. We look forward to the draw to prepare individually for each opponent.
